Dungeons of Drakkenheim

Last week our heroes navigated the flooded sewers beneath Drakkenheim, searching for the hidden compound of the Queen’s Men. Deep below the city, they encountered the twisted remains of a delerium-infused gator lurking within the darkness.

Though the party initially slipped past the creature unnoticed, disaster struck when a sudden light source revealed their position. The beast seized Lavitz in its maw and attempted to drag him into the depths before the party leapt into action. Little Grimble delivered the killing blow, and the group harvested what useful components they could from the corrupted creature.

Continuing deeper into the tunnels, the adventurers discovered a chamber occupied by strange robed humanoids clearly intoxicated by contaminated delerium water. In a moment of questionable judgment, Lavitz joined them, drinking deeply from the corrupted liquid and suffering two levels of exhaustion as a result.

Beyond the chamber, the party encountered three attendants known as the Cardinal, the Chancellor, and the Chamberlain. One among them wore a Seal of Drakkenheim upon their cloak. Following these mysterious figures further into the compound, the party survived yet another confrontation with a horrifying sewer monstrosity before finally arriving at the inner chamber.

There, beneath the ruined city, the Duchess awaited them with cups of delerium tea already prepared.
